SO MANY POSSIBILITIES!
In preparing my resume for class this week it magnified my uncertainty on what I want to major in, what type of career I desire, what lifestyle I wish to have and even what I hope to accomplish in my time here living. When I was in the third grade I wanted to be a paramedic. This dream of mine materialized from watching tons of ER with my mom and watching a show about young EMTs on the Disney channel. When I was in the ninth grade I wanted to be a doctor. Biology was my favorite class that year and I exceeded more than my peers in the subject and my favorite TV show was Grey's Anatomy. When I began this academic year I just knew that I wanted to become a middle school teacher. Summers off, and the 7-4 work day was very attractive and you always hear that teachers are in high demand and can find a job ANYWHERE! But as this semester progresses I am left unsure about my calling. I am planning on scheduling an appointment with career services to find what I would be best at and the happiest with.
