Gay people aren't contagious
Today, during the last few moments of my math class, our conversation somehow turned to people who were homophobic. The girl in front of me goes "I have a collective few 'gay' friends but for the most part, I'm pretty standoffish. I don't understand them". That girl was nothing more than pure ignorant. Gay people shouldn't be classified as "them". They're people, just like everyone else. I was pretty surprised that she was so harsh considering that she can't stand racism. Homophobia is a form of racism too. You're judging before you're getting to know people. Who cares if someone likes the same sex? Its not your place to judge. Our world is filled with enough hatred already, do we really need to attack love as well?
