What a powerful story! It had such a deep meaning behind it. What I got from it was despite the fact that children may have a hard time identifying themselves in society, labels should not be the cause of their happiness. The article is relatable to issues in our society today.

What I really liked about the article was all the other children were okay with X. They did not judge X for not knowing its gender. The kids actually thought X was cool and wanted to be like it. Free of worries and just wanting to live a life that made them happy.

Ultimately, I thought the story was really informative without being forceful.
