I read “X: A Fabulous Child’s story” by Louis Gould. It was interesting. I wouldn’t raise my child that way; I think it could be really damaging and confusing to the child. I realize that it’s just an article and not a literary masterpiece to be taken to heart, but just stating my opinion. The first project we did in class I felt had a deep impact on everyone. At first, it was funny, but by the fourth or fifth rotation, most people were walking the same no matter what “kind” of person was being called out. I also thought it was interesting that we went into a uniformed circle without being told too. The second project we did in class, I had also done during Allies Training; I thought it to be a cool project both times. I like that sometimes it was nice to “cross” the line, while at other times it was sad or embarrassing. If you were willing to fully participate, it forced you to be honest with yourself and your peers. I have new respect for all those brave enough to honestly participate.
